The City Church Resource Center (CCRC) is a faith-based organization which has been in operation in the city of Pompano Beach since January 2015. CCRC is located in the 33060 called which is right in the heart of Pompano’s indigent neighborhoods.  CCRC operates as a one-stop social service resource center to connect clients with an array of needed services. Those services include but are not limited to: rental, utility and housing assistance; food pantry; shoes and clothing; parenting classes; food stamp application assistance; job referrals and job application assistance; community education; referrals for drug and alcohol rehabilitation; pregnancy prevention and teen parenting assistance; bondsman referrals; domestic violence; emergency shelter; crime prevention; youth development; and more. One of our most unique services that we offer our facility, free of charge, to provide funeral services for families that have lost a loved one due to criminal activity or drug-related problem

 

CCRC in cooperation with other agencies spearheaded the first neighborhood prayer walk against FLOCKA in order to help residents understand and fight against this destructive drug. Hundreds of local residents participated in this inaugural event.
